Montana Through My Lens: A Weekend of Big Skies

This post will dive deep into the various scenery and animal photography I have taken just outside of Helena Montana. I hope you can find beauty within my photography. Thanks for viewing!
I had the privilege of spending a four-day weekend tucked away in Montana’s Blue Cloud Mountains. Each morning, my partner and I woke to soft light spilling over endless ridges, the air crisp and quiet. Coming from the constant buzz of Fall River, MA, the hush of the mountains, the gentle presence of wildlife, and the sweep of open sky felt like a deep breath we had needed for a long time.
We were lucky enough to stay at The Little Black A-Frame, an Airbnb hosted by Tenae. This cozy A-frame cabin was the perfect home base for our Montana weekend. From the lofted master bedroom that overlooks the mountains and the warm, light-filled living space, to the spacious kitchen stocked with everything we needed, it felt like a retreat in the truest sense. Outside, we spent our evenings in the hot tub under the stars, played horseshoes and cornhole in the crisp mountain air, grilled dinner as the sun set, and gathered around the fire pits to end each night. Every corner of this place invited us to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy the quiet beauty around us.
